We will soon be posting images of hand dyed yarns from this past year of dyeing over the open fire! So many beautiful, natural shades are available that lend themselves well to knitting, crocheting, weaving, and felting.

Hi Jennifer,
I met you at Tanasi. I am in Unicoi from Dallas. I would like to buy an assortment of yarns for my friend that knits the wall hangings. I tried to send you an email and it kept bouncing….maybe you got a copy. Anyway, you had asked if there was a book of patterns for the wall hangings and as it turns out there is not specifically. My friend was inspired by a book called “Block by Block” http://www.amazon.com/dp/0307586529/?tag=googhydr-20&hvadid=22624236967&hvpos=1t1&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=20052442591804531999&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=c&ref=pd_sl_3zgm4f8vq4_e
My friend will appreciate your yarns as she is a horticulturist by trade. I wonder if you could put together an assortment of colors that I could give her as a gift. I don’t knit so I have no idea what amount to suggest. Her wall hangings are approximately 16″x20″ and made of various blocks.
Thanks!
Nancie
